IT Systems Architect urgently required for a hybrid permanent role for a market leading global defence organisation who provide cutting edge solutions to their customers across the space.

This role offers a 4 day working week Mon - Thu and hybrid working with typically 2 days a week onsite. The roles is based from Helensburgh, approx. 45 mins from Glasgow.

This is an exciting role that will allow you to have direct influence over how their customer operates their IT systems by working direct with them to set out and implement their IT Strategy.

You will have had previous experience in being part of an organisations architectural direction and implementing that strategy.

You will work closely with a small team dedicated to implementing new customer solutions based on your requirements

You will be responsible for:

Understanding the business IT requirements and constraints are

Articulating new design requirements to all stakeholders

Advising how best to implement any new designs

Understanding how new solutions integrate with current ones

Reviewing and constructing architectural design documents.

Supporting the team with hands on assistance with any new implementations

You:

Proven experience as a Systems Architect / Solutions Architect or related role

Experience designing, planning and implementing enterprise IT architecture (Infrastructure, Windows, VMware)

Experience working closely with client's Architecture team and Solutions Architects internally to deliver solutions

Strong stakeholder management skills

Familiarity with TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) and or ITIL

Likely to hold or be working towards any of the following qualifications: TOGAF, ITIL, Microsoft, VMware, Cisco or SAN based technologies The package:
