IT School Support Technician x2 - Education - Doncaster/Scunthorpe

MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WORKING WITHIN I.T. IN AN EDUCATIONAL SETTING

A growing Technology Services Provider are looking for 2 IT School Support Technicians to work across designated schools in and around the Doncaster/Scunthorpe area. You must have excellent experience with Windows 10, office 365 and cisco networking technologies maintaining and troubleshooting IT systems and networks.

The IT School Support Technician will need to be DBS checked to work across the different school sites. As the successful IT support technician, you will need to have knowledge in Windows operating systems and how they work in a local area network environment.

Key Skills the IT School Support Technician will have:

Windows Operating Systems - 10/8/7

Proficient with Active Directory and Office365

Ability to explain technical terms and situations to non-technical people

Experience of maintaining and working with WAN connection

Full UK clean driving license

Cisco networking technologies - switches, routers

Software backups and licences

Anti-virus tools

Any knowledge/experience working on LGFL systems is a bonusYou will be responsible for providing IT support for multiple schools, with the school you are assigned being your main place of work. The schedule of this position will also vary, so the IT School Support Technician can expect to visit up to 4/5 schools a week. The other day you will have the opportunity to shadow 3rd line engineers and learn new technologies.
