My client is currently looking for a Head Of I.T Operations to join the team and head up the service delivery within the business (1st, 2nd and 3rd line support teams). They currently have 100 people within the I.T Space and do have a junior guy doing this service delivery piece however they need someone more senior to come in.
The role The Interim Head of IT Service & Operations is the voice of the customer across the Technology department, representing customer requirements across their Technology processes while being accountable for the effective and efficient provision of IT Services to all of the Group businesses. Functionally, this includes the IT Service Desk, IT Operations, Infrastructure support, Application support, Service Improvement and Transition to Service teams.
The role will also work collaboratively with the senior team, to ensure that transformational projects and programmes meet the needs of the business and are transitioned into Service successfully whilst striving for continuous improvement and a model that flexes to suit the needs of the Business.
The key focus of the role will be to improve and build out the service function on a budget. They currently work with Salesforce, Dayforce and Sitecore.
The ideal candidate - will ideally come from a consumer led background. (Retail, eComm, Travel would be great.)
