An independent creative software house based in Bristol is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their thriving business. This company are continuing to expand and are hiring in many areas of the business. The Senior Software Engineer will provide expertise in software engineering and have a passionate and innovative approach to technology. You will be working with and reporting directly to the Head of Software Engineering. Time served in this role will result in a promotion to Lead and Managerial roles.

Senior Software Engineer | Role & Responsibilities:

Work with a team of developers on current web-based projects and SaaS product work projects created within .Net framework.

CI/CD DevOps work

Working as part of a larger workforce made up of Quality, PMO and CRM teams.

Challenge yourself and look to upskill by learning new technologies that will eventually benefit yourself, the team and the business.

Utilise your experience and knowledge to problem solve and speak with clients if needed.

Work in an agile team on both project work in Umbraco and product work.

Senior Software Engineer | Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Have 'senior level' commercial experience in a software development environment delivering projects to external or internal clients using .NET C# and ASP.NET MVC.

Have past or current experience with Umbraco

Experience with SQL Server, HTML/CSS/JavaScript

Demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to speak with external clients if needed.
