Network Engineer

A fantastic chance for a Network Engineer with solid Cisco knowledge to advance their career. In this country critical technology environment, this role will work with the client to support their network systems.

Due to the nature of the role you will need to be willing and able to go through SC-level security clearance and must be a British Citizen.

The role is Hybrid with 2 days a week based in Gosport.

As the Network Engineer you will have a varied day and you will be involved in:

Maintaining and improving network performance in a Cisco environment

Installation configuration and maintenance of Cisco layer 2/3 network equipment over multiple Data Centres

Configure and maintains network security appliances, such as firewalls

Install and configure communications software on all network attached devices

Network performance monitoring and capacity planning

Network documentation and standards

Implement necessary security restrictions on network devices 

To Secure the role:

You will have worked as a Network Engineer or Network Support Analyst ideally in a Cisco environment with some exposure to layer 2/3 switches and firewalls.

You will be confident and experienced with Switches and Firewalls (such as Nexus or McAfee Enterprise

Will have experience with f5 Load Balancers

Will be willing and able to pass Security Clearance.
