You’ll be the go-to person for all things technical within this role, basically supporting everything with a plug!

We’re looking for an enthusiastic IT Technician who will get a kick out of providing quality help and support to people based out of a divisional office in Northern Ireland.

As the sole person in IT Support, you’ll help people with their general PC and Laptop queries.  This could be basic help and guidance such as fixing a printer or setting up a laptop to more complex windows based or network based troubleshooting with full support from your IT Support colleagues based in Derbyshire.

As well as providing PC Support, supporting users with ERP related queries will also be part of the role.  ERP exposure (any ERP such as Oracle, SAP, Dynamics, SYSPRO) would be preferred however experience of supporting other business systems or business applications such as Sage or Xero will be considered.

The best part about this role is that it will give you the opportunity to learn and develop current and new technical skills.  A genuine interest in tech in general is key and this role will best suit a person who is curious about technology and wants to learn.  Part of your working will could include learning more about business software or BI, for example.

This is a deskside technical and business system support role.  Ideally we’re looking for 1 – 2 years’ experience of working within a similar IT support desk or IT service desk environment providing Helpdesk and technical support such as trouble shooting desktop problems, laptop builds and Active Directory Group Policy.

Technically you will have a broad range of skills within a Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems environment such as Windows 7, Windows 10, Office 365 / O365, Microsoft Office 2016 and Active Directory, ideally with Group Policy experience.  Peripheral support such as laptop build also desirable.

Above all enthusiasm for problem solving and for delivering exceptional customer service is required.  This is a role where you’ll be liaising with key stakeholders within the business across all levels.
