We are looking to grow our dedicated in-house software development team and have an opportunity for a Software Developer to join our friendly, motivated, and hard working team.

Part of the successful and expanding Hague Group, Hague Software Solutions (HSS) has more than 1500 software customers across the globe. HSS specialises in counter-based software applications for banks, credit unions, building societies and bureau production for large scale printing and scanning.

What you will be doing:

Analysing user requirements, researching, designing and writing new software applications.

Designing, developing and launching new Web applications.

Provide support, maintenance and software changes to existing software projects.

Writing and testing code, refining and rewriting where necessary.

Creating technical specifications and test plans.

Software system testing and fault finding.

Developing existing programs by analysing and identifying areas of improvement.

Carry out system installations, upgrades and possibly training using online support tools.

Continually updating technical knowledge and skills by attending external training. courses, online training courses and accessing new applications.

Skills and Experience:

Required:

Software development experience

Proficient in C# and .NET, with a good knowledge and understanding of MVC

Experience with HTML, JavaScript, Bootstrap, jQuery

Good understanding and experience of working with relational databases and Microsoft SQL Server

Strong understanding of object-oriented programming

Internet technologies

UK driving license

Desirable:

Experience of working with and using version control systems such as Git or TFS

Experience of Azure/AWS cloud services and solutions

Familiarity with Microsoft software and solutions including Windows Server platforms.

Work Hours:

35.75 / week. Mon-Thurs 08:45 – 17:15, Fri 08:45 – 15:00
