Junior Web/Software Developer

Location: South Lanarkshire 

Salary: 25K+ (Dependent on experience)

Term: Full Time Permanent

Pertemps are delighted to be working with a brilliant client based in South Lanarkshire who are seeking a Junior Web Developer at circa of 25k+ per annum. The role involves engagement at every level from design right through to testing, deployment, support, and continual maintenance of the company-based websites. The client is seeking someone with a strong work ethic, a passion in web development, a high level of accountability and someone who strives to succeed in ownership.

* Must have previous experience in web-based development roles and a degree of a related discipline i.e. Web Development or Computer Science. *

Working Days: Monday – Friday (9am-5:30pm).

Working Model: Hybrid.

Driver required - not accessible by public transport - free onsite parking available.

Experience and Skills (Required):

Minimum 2 years web-based development experience, front and backend programming with PHP.

Strong grounding in Object Orientated Programming.

Ability to write well formatted HTML, CSS and Javascript.

SQL data definition and data manipulation.

Experience integrating with web-based APIs using XML or JSON.

Excellent team player but able to work with minimal supervision.

Be motivated, enthusiastic and able to manage time effectively.
