As the Application Software Engineer you will be supporting different software related queries from customers and production area. The role is also concerned with improving the existing software applications and generating new ideas / applications for improving the customer experience.

Create software applications

Maintain existing software applications

Analyse and support customer queries

Support production queries related to software tasks

Generating customer-oriented documentation

Generate ideas for making new software products for the customer

To be successful in this role of Application Software Engineer we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:

Understanding of programming with C / C++ on Windows and Linux platforms

Experience with IDEs like Visual Studio / Eclipse

Experience of interfacing with PC hardware

Knowledge about basic electronics

Good communication and interpersonal skill

"Can-Do" attitude

Knowledge of NI LabVIEW, Veristand

Ability to thrive in a fast-moving development environment

Knowledge of object-oriented languages

Knowledge of international standards for instrument control, such as PXI, LXI, VISA, IVI

Any experience in the Test and Measurement industry
