We are currently working with a rapidly expanding market leading business based in Ipswich looking to bring on an IT Support Technician to focus on 2nd line IT support.
What is the job?
The primary duties of the post will be to provide fundamental second line IT support alongside the Senior IT Support Technician, ensuring the progression and swift resolution of calls logged with the IT Service Desk and delivery of superior services in line with Service Level Agreements, while managing our colleague's expectations.
Administer and maintain system infrastructure, including Active Directory, Azure AD, LAN, Internet access, firewalls, and Exchange/Office 365
Respond to any escalated server and network performance monitoring alerts, taking any necessary actions to resolveWhat do you need?
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server and Office 365
Strong knowledge/experience of troubleshooting networking protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing and vLANs
Good Knowledge of backup and DR services (Azure)
