Java Developer - Outside IR35 - Remote

Our client is a leading software house and are looking for a variety of java developers to join their team on a 6 months term with the view to extend further.

Project Itself:

You will be working as part of the Development Team, closely with other designers, developers, business/systems analysts, software Architects and testers

Our developers will be responsible to produce software designs in line with user requirements, implementing these through various technologies in accordance with user stories and business quality standards.IR35 and Location:

This is OUTSIDE IR35 and working on a predominantly remote basis with ad hoc travel to a choice of locations (dependent on project alignment).

Responsibilities:

Development of software designs which are consistent with the solution architecture to meet user requirements

Actively participate in time box planning and solution design

Implement software using the latest versions of Java

Develop and test solutions in line with the user requirements

Mentor junior team members (dependent on position)Essential

Java 8 and above

Spring/Spring Boot

Eclipse/IntelliJ

Unit testing/mocking frameworks (Junit, Mockito, Karma, Jasmine, Protractor)

Web-services (Soap, Rest)Desirable:

Linux

JPA/Hibernate

Relational/No SQL Databases

Knowledge of AWS technologies

Containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)

Microservices development

Using CI/CD Pipelines (Ansible, GULP, NPM, Maven, Bower)

Version Control (Git/GitHub)

Awareness of messaging technologies (RabbitMQ)
