I'm currently partnered with a leading provider of mobile computing solutions (software & hardware) to the fuel logistics industry, and they've been operating within this sector for 30 years.

You will work part of a small development team, writing specific, bespoke applications which form an integral part of mobile computing solutions as well as supporting the existing software team.

Required:

C# (3 years' experience)

Windows Client & Windows Server

Cloud based solutions, especially Microsoft Azure.

SQL Server, database design and Implementation, including Azure

Knowledge of the full development cycle from specification, design, coding, prototyping, testing, documentation, and installation.

Add and enhance to the technical knowledge base to aid in future problem resolution

Ability to problem solve

Ability to work as a team and independently

Desirable:

Regularly communicate with key stack holders on progress and timelines on tasks & issues

Some customer-facing skills; they may have to deal directly with clients occasionally for meetings, conference calls or emails.

Continuous improvement of development methods, processes, and documentation

Using an MDM (Mobile Device Manager) to help investigate issues, resolutions and roll out of new releases

Experience within the access control (software & hardware)
