Level 2/3 Systems Engineer

Bellshill

£27,000 per annum (with opportunity for on-call cover)

Nine Twenty are proud to be partnering with an IT Support Services company in Bellshill to hire a Level 2/3 Systems Engineer to join their team.

Hours of Work

37.5 hours per week, shift rotation:

9am – 5.30pm

7.30am – 4pm

9.30am – 6pm

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work within our Service Desk in an ITL environment and carry out the following tasks:

* Daily checks of back-ups and monitoring solutions.

* Provide end user IT Support.

* Use ITSM platform to record progress of incident timeline and resolution.

* Creation of knowledge-based articles.

* Provide support to Modern Apprentices.

* Be a point of escalation for lower level Systems Engineers.

Requirements

* Strong Communication skills with IT background.

* Proven experience in 1st Line IT Support.

* Ability to organise and prioritise workloads.

* Experience working in ITIL environment.

* Full UK Driver’s Licence is essential.
