IT Engineer (2nd/3rd) - Greater Nottingham (Belper) - GBP £34,000 (Hybrid/On-Site)

Are you a tech-savvy problem solver looking for an exciting opportunity? Our client is a world-renowned manufacturer and they're seeking an experienced IT Engineer to join their team!

Based on their Main site in Greater Nottingham, you'll be part of a dynamic IT team that provides 2nd line/3rd line technical support across four UK sites. With the opportunity to work on Divisional and Corporate IT projects, you'll play a key role in the technical development of the company.

Responsibilities

Provide 2nd/3rd line support for Active Directory / DNS / DHCP and GPO's

Act as the UK point of contact for Azure migration / ongoing support issues

Act as the technical UK project lead for participation in Corporate / Divisional / UK IT projects as required

Manage and support UK infrastructure, including VMware and server environment(s), firewalls, and other infrastructureRequirements

VMware, Microsoft environment,

Server operating systems, active directory, Microsoft 365

Azure active directory, GPO's, DNS / DHCP and experience of Cloud technology desirable.

Firewalls and networking concepts.

PowerShell and/or scripting/programming techniques

Apply technical expertise to provide solutions
