As a Principal Enterprise Architect, you will provide thought leadership while working closely with the Chief Technology Officer, business relationship managers, and senior business and technology stakeholders. You will be part of a growing Information Services architecture team committed to delivering value for the business through excellence and innovation.

Salary from £55,500 - £80,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

Lead multi-discipline teams as they explore how innovative technologies can accelerate scientific, engineering, capital project, and business management initiatives.

Determine how AWE can get the most value from its strategic investments in enterprise applications such as Siemens Teamcenter, Oracle Fusion, and Workday.

Establish how and when AWE should build rather than buy solutions using its Microsoft 365, .net, and Power Platform capabilities.

Manage the selection and procurement of new technology solutions, including developing their business cases and creating their cost estimates.

Define roadmaps that pre-empt technology obsolesce and architectures that promote secure data integration.

Guide technical architects as they design and deliver solutions.

Identify and promote ideas which improve AWE's business and technology capabilities.

Develop productive relationships with AWE's customer, partners, and suppliers.

Participate in the Architecture Review Board.

Maintain an awareness of emerging enterprise architecture and innovation trends before recommending their adoption where appropriate.

Contribute to the success of the architecture team by coaching and mentoring more junior staff.
