Job Title: Voice / LAD-T Telephony Architect

Location: MOD Corsham (On-site)

Contract: 6 Month Minimum

Day Rate Available: £575 - £675

Outside IR35

The LAD-T Telephony Architect will be experienced in the delivery of Voice services at an enterprise level and will be reposnsible for the end to end design, test and delivery of the LAD-T voice services and will be responsible for:

* Working with the program Chief Engineer in order to gain an understanding of the overarching requirements for Voice Services in the LAD-T solution

* Creating Low Level Designs, technical configuration documents and Level 3 guides as well as support the production of the High-Level Design to the Service Design Authority.

* Design, test and document the integrated voice system in order to support fixed and deployable systems.

* Design, test and document the integrated VTC system in order to support fixed and deployable systems.

* Provide Knowledge Transfer to Level 3 and Incident, Defect and Problem management support to Level 4 and the Authority.

* Provide Continuing Professional Development of both voice and VTC (if required) services.

* Provide Continuing Professional Development of the QoS design and delivery.

* Provide network engineering support to the wider program.

Essential skills, qualifications, and experience

In order to deliver this service, it is essential that individuals have at least 3 years demonstrable experience, advanced knowledge, and understanding, within the last 5 years, of:

* NATO VoIP and VTC (if required) systems and the delivery and codes of connection for both.

* Working in an Agile delivery model and working in a fast moving, developing environment with operational priorities.

* Experience with voice and VTC (if required) design and implementation that conforms to both JSP and NATO STANAG standards.

* Experience with QoS design and implementation that conforms to both JSP and NATO STANAG standards.

* Experience working with NATO to deliver NATO NS voice and video (if required) services at an enterprise level.

* Obtained CISCO CCNP Networking qualification within the last five years and be highly skilled and conversant with:

o CISCO Switches

o CISCO Routers

o VLANS

o QoS

o OSPF

o BGP

o VOIP

o IP VTC

o MCU (Multi Point Conference Unit)

o Session Border Controllers

o CISCO CUBE

* Have excellent communication skills with diverse and adverse audiences

* Have excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.

* Hold a current SC clearance and be prepared to undergo DV clearance.

* Competent in MS Office Suite.

In order to deliver this service, it is desirable that individuals have:

* Experience of:

o Working within the public sector, preferably Defence, and ideally with Defence Digital (formerly ISS).

o Poly Clarity Real Presence

o SKYPE

o Cisco Call Manager

o IP Crypto

o The Atlassian Toolset - JIRA, Confluence and BitBucket for delivering Agile based projects.

o Delivering in Agile and Waterfall project management environments
