Back End focused PHP Developer (Laravel / React), £50k to £60k, Remote (or Hybrid in Bracknell if you prefer but most of the Dev team work remotely most of the time)

Avanti Rec is currently partnering with a successful e-commerce / retailer who’s head office is based in Bracknell. You can work remotely though and most of the Dev team go in to the office now and again and don’t live particularly locally. If you prefer hybrid though there are people there all the time, decent offices etc.

As a Developer you will have strong involvement in managing the software development process from spec to development, testing and stakeholder sign-off to deployment, working with a PHP, JavaScript and MySQL based stack. This role will be more back end focused (PHP, Laravel, MySQL etc.) but would be good to help out on front end stack which is tailwind CSS and React.

You will join a talented team of Software Developers who are passionate about what they do and support more junior members of the team.

Ideal Skills required;

* Solid experience with PHP and Laravel

* In-depth experience of MySQL and database design

* Experience with LAMP Stack Unit testing / PHPUnit or similar

* Experience of SCRUM / Agile methods

* Experience of GIT version control

This is more of a backend focused role using PHP and Laravel but experience in the following areas would be beneficial;

* Experience in e-commerce

* Good experience with at least one Javascript framework (We use React)

* Strong front-end skills, specifically HTML & CSS

* Experience in design of responsive websites
