Head of IT (PHP) - Up to £75K (DOE) - Kirklees - PHP / AWS

My client, a leader within the property industry, is looking for a Head of IT who has a development background in PHP. Your main purpose will be to ensure the IT architecture, systems, IT development and resource allocation are efficient and in line with business functionality. You will be managing a team of both external and internal employees that include helpdesk support and developers. The role will ideal for a Head of IT who has previous experience as a Senior PHP Developer / Development Manager, and who has experience working with AWS and Linux.

Role Responsibilities:

Provide guidance and support for core architecture and development

Manage resources

Develop and manage to industry Project Management principles

Ensure day to day systems run smoothly

Manage internal and external IT team resources

Manage AWS to balance functionalitySkills:

Previous experience with PHP, AWS and Linux

Project delivery experience

Ability to engage with different levels of employee and stakeholdersThe role will be based out of the office located in the Kirklees area so you will need to be within commutable distance but they are also offering remote working opportunities that can be discussed at interview stage.
