Data Engineer - {Remote} - up to £70,000

People Source is currently partnered with one of the UK's leading private medical providers, servicing over 2 million customers across 350 locations. We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to work remotely as a part of a strategic and agile team.

Reporting to the Lead Software Developer, you will provide robust and optimised data solutions to the business and will work collaboratively as a part of the software development team. You will focus on the core data entities within the company and will work closely with application support and business intelligence teams.

Responsibilities:

Work collaboratively as part of an Agile team taking User Stories from initial refinement through to delivery.

Retrieve business data for analysis and reporting.

Combine datasets throughout the business to provide centralised insights to support the data driven business strategy. Requirements:

Extensive Azure cloud services knowledge

SQL administration experience

Knowledge of Enterprise Data Platforms at scale

Design, construction, and management of an Enterprise Data Warehouse

Experience gathering, analysing, and converting business requirements into technical solutions

Experience with Big Data, ETL pipelines, and procedures

Commercial DevOps exposure
