Web Developer

Location: Isle of Wight (Hybrid or Local)

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (Depending on Experience)

Job Type: Full-time or part-time, Permanent

The Client:

Our client is a multi-award-winning web design, branding and graphic design company, seeking to recruit an enthusiastic web developer for a full time or part time position. The role can be remote hybrid or local to suit the needs of the right candidate.

The Role:

The right candidate for the position would have to be a highly competent and motivated web developer that can create top-of-the-range websites and add value to the team. It has to be someone with a strong passion for coding websites and with a natural love for the industry.

Essential Skills:

Strong understanding of HTML, CSS & JavaScript

Knowledge of PHP

Knowledge of MySQL

Experience working with WordPress themes and plugins

Experience with a JavaScript framework, such as React and/or Angular

Experience with Git and GitHub

Experience with debugging and tackling code challenges

Experience with website deployment / DNS configuring

Desirable Skills

Understanding of Apache / Nginx etc

Understanding of Linux and the command line

Native iOS and Android app development

Experience working with Shopify themes and apps

Experience with a PHP framework, such as Laravel

Experienced with designing websites
