Head of Technical Services
Salary: £45,000-£50,000
Location: Huddersfield, Leeds
Hybrid - 2 days Office-Based, 3 days remote
Permanent, Hybrid, Full-Time

Job role:
You'd provide exceptional support for existing contracts and lead the pre-sales process for new customers. Be responsible for creating, implementing, and supervising new systems for both internal and customer use. The Head of Technical Services will collaborate with the SLT to develop the Technical Services sales and support strategy as the company expands.
Essential Skills:
Experience in management with a track record of success.
Strong B2B IT experience.
Strong hands-on technical skills and relevant qualifications.
Experience of designing and delivering large scale server infrastructure projects.
Experience in network design and security protocols, including firewall management.
Excellent communicator who can deliver clear and articulate information to customers and colleagues.
Experience of delivering pre-sales proposals.
Ability to motivate and drive a team's success.Desirable Skills:
Strong B2B Telco experience.
Experience of supporting and developing a Microsoft Dynamics environment.
Experience of working in a senior leadership capacity.
ITIL qualification. ➢ A commitment to continued professional development.
Passion to remain up to date with the latest technological developments.
Experience of delivering cloud-based solutions.
Experience deploying and administering pfSense firewalls.
Requirements:
MSP Experience or background
Full UK driving license and willingness to travel as part of the role.Key Responsibilities:
Identify and maintain SLAs and KPIs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, reporting on them as required
Manage the pre-sales process through to installation of new systems for customers
Develop technical sales proposals and present them to customers
Create and manage project plans for technical solutions and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
Manage resources to meet customer requirements, providing both on-site and remote support
Evaluate and negotiate costs for potential new products and services
Close customer support tickets in line with SLAs, company procedures, and excellent customer service
Continuously improve IT and Telco services to remain ahead of competitors and retain preferred supplier status
Conduct technical audits for customers and new opportunities
Complete administrative documentation in a timely and accurate manner
