The role is responsible for designing and implementing the embedded software that is integral to specialist measurement and control systems. The Embedded Software Engineer evaluates methods, technology and development tools to be used for projects. This person helps define and implement frameworks and design practices, as well as knowledge sharing activities in the local and global community.

This will involve incorporating multiple processors using real time operating systems, designing high-speed, hard-real-time data acquisition, Implementing DSP algorithms, design testing procedures and more.

The company offer exceptional training internally and externally, and support internal movement both upwards and into different areas.

To be considered you must have c or c++ embedded experience, and ideally have knowledge or experience of RTOS, Arm and TI processors, hardware and peripheral drivers.

The role:

* Design and implement embedded software for measurement and control systems incorporating multiple processors using real time operating systems

* Design high-speed, hard-real-time data acquisition and logging systems

The person:

* Must have c or c++ embedded experience

* Proven experience in embedded systems design with pre-emptive, multitasking real-time operating systems
