Job Title: 2nd Line Service Desk Analyst
2nd Line Service Desk Analyst is required by our industry leading retail fashion brand client, for an exciting opportunity to join a small IT support team and also become actively involved in a wide range of project work.
As a 2nd Line Support Analyst you would be expected to have a very good grounding in supporting a wide user base in a range of Microsoft platforms and hardware technologies including Windows OS, Active Directory, O365 as well as laptops/desktop PC’s, printers, mobile devices.
A good understanding of server based troubleshooting would also be expected for example, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS and connectivity issues.
There is also an increasing user based of Apple Mac users. Therefore a good basic understanding of supporting and troubleshooting Apple devices would be required. For example, the OS X operating system (Big Sur onwards), Mac based applications and peripheral configuration, for example Wi-Fi setup and wireless printers etc.
In this role you will be supporting both internal and external users across all business areas. Therefore apart from your technical skills it is absolutely essential that you are customer focused and fully understand the need to communicate effectively and efficiently with all areas and levels of the business.

Finally this a hybrid remote working role where you will be required to be on-site 2-3 days per week in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire and 2-3 days working from home, so overall a 50/50 hybrid remote working role
