IT Support Technician

Type: Contract

Day Rate: €200 Per Day + Depending on experience

Location: Dublin

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Support Technician to join our client's team in Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to users, maintaining and troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of desktops, laptops, and other devices.

Responsibilities:

Technical support for desktop & laptop hardware/software issues

Install/configure/maintain desktops, laptops, printers, & peripherals

Troubleshoot software & hardware issues, including operating system & network connectivity

Respond to help desk requests & provide resolution via remote support or on-site visits

Manage incoming support requests & collaborate with internal teams

Maintain technical documentation & knowledge base articles

Requirements:

3+ years of IT support experience

Strong knowledge of desktop hardware & peripherals, Windows/MacOS

Experience with remote desktop tools & security best practices

Excellent communication skills & ability to work independently

Experience with Citrix Workspace

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus
