As a Barclays Business Analyst, you will be joining Programme Mensun within Private Bank Processing. You will be operating within Programme Mensun to establish and create a holistic programme responsible for the management of various streams of a regulatory review. Given the breadth and complexities of this project, you will have a unique opportunity within a high profile and complex piece of work, which will have a material impact across multiple business areas.

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. We're flexible on how this works and it may continue to change and evolve. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. We also have a flexible working process where, subject to business needs, all colleagues globally are able to request work patterns to reflect their personal circumstances. What will you be doing?
• Using Business Analysis methodologies and tools to deliver and shape against the regulatory programme deliverables
• Delivering the documentation of change and requirements through Business Analysis artefacts
• Supporting and managing project workflows with immediate team colleagues and key programme team, business, and functional contributors
• Driving the key interface with SME and Central programme teams to drive a data driven approach to project execution
• Ensuring consistency of approach - including with communications to clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
• Managing and supporting the production of Management Information to inform a wider range of stakeholders of project progress and any hotspot areas of concern
• Looking for opportunities to continuously improve processes, methodologies, and tools and roll these out across the collaborative team
• Working through complex issues, and defining innovative solutions to problems that arise during projects
What we're looking for:
• Knowledge, understanding and experience of Business Analysis methodologies, process and operating model assessment and design
• Proven track record of delivery involving both project management and business analysis skill sets
• Experience working in a regulatory response function within financial services and with products offered to clients
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Understanding of Financial Crime landscape across BUK and BI
• Process based implementation experience in Financial Services
• A formal Business Analysis qualification
