Line QA - St Albans Cuisine Centre

• £11.90 per hour (plus £1 per hour extra for night shifts)
• 37.5 hours per week
• 5 days out of 7 day shift patterns 7am-3.30pm or 8am-4.30pm
• 4 on, 4 off night shift patterns: 8pm-6am

The Cuisine Centre is a central Food production Kitchen located in St Albans and St Helens and distribute Steamplicity food products through the Company supply chain.

We\\'re currently recruiting a dedicated Line QA to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in The Cuisine Centre.

The purpose of this role is to ensure all products are produced to the highest quality standards and the correct specification by monitoring and recording relevant information on the Line monitoring checks sheets.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Follow the Production plan at all times
• Complete and sign all QA line monitoring records to the correct standard, in the timescales required.
• Ensure 100% traceability at all times by the recorded of all 'Batch Codes and 'Use By' information on the correct paperwork
• Communicate product quality issues to the Line operatives
• Communicate key issues to the Production Manager.
• Ensure all appropriate PPE, for the task being carried out, is worn at all times
• Achieve the companies GMP std's at all times
• Follow the Company's HR and Health & Safety policies in order to achieve a safe and controlled environment for yourself and others at all times.
• Enforce 100% compliance with all Quality policies and procedures to ensure products meet stated customer, legal and Company requirements.
• Check all process records to enable the generation of manufacturing reports.
• Carry out any reasonable/appropriate task requested by a member of the Senior management team.
• Be flexible in your approach to working in various different depts within the factory when requested to do so

Our ideal Line QA will have:

• Proven track record of Food handling
• Interpersonal skills
• Food hygiene requirements and product quality standards
• Excellent numeracy & Literacy skills
