Commercial Banking Technology is looking for passionate and skilled software engineers who are passionate about advancing opportunities and solving business challenges through technology, innovation and engineering best practices. The focus is to build out our tech stack across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Experience including data integrations across systems and data engineering to discover insights and build intelligence to drive strategic decisions. Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate across tech and business teams using excellent verbal and written communications for people who are passionate around solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices
• You'll be required to apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with your many stakeholders (business, product owners, Tech/IT, vendors, etc.) on a daily basis to stay focused on common goals

• Your team will discover/analyze/design/develop the best solution that aligns with the overall strategic direction and architecture and leverage industry best practices and design patterns to modernize, enhance and integrate systems and applications
• You'll leverage technical expertise in Software / Data Engineering to build integrations and technical capabilities that are innovative and align to modern architecture best practices

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or a technology-related degree
• 4+ years of enterprise level software engineering experience
• Proficient in Java/J2EE, and scalable microservices using Spring framework, Springboot
• Hands-on experience in building/implementing cloud native application in a private/public Cloud environment i.e. AWS, Azure, Pivotal, or Google
• Experience with integration and messaging including event/message driven (Kafka, MQ)
• Proficient in SQL and stored procedures across multiple types of databases (Postgre, RDS, MariaDB, MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
• Experience in Agile (Kanban/Scrum) development, CI/CD tools/processes/pipelines, DevOps environment

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Familiar with various automated testing and tools
• Fast learner, nimble, flexible and able to adapt quickly
• Excellent communication skills and able to work collaboratively across teams to deliver innovative solutions
