About the Team
Commercial Banking is focused on helping our clients succeed and making a positive difference in our communities. We provide credit and financing, treasury and payment services, international banking and real estate services to clients including corporations, municipalities, institutions, real estate investors and owners, and nonprofit organizations.
Required Experience
- You need to have in-depth understanding of commercial Lending (vendor) applications like Finastra Loan IQ, FIS -ACBS and other market leading commercial lending platforms
- You should have strong product knowledge/hands on experience and domain expertise on commercial lending operations, E2E process/loan life cycle
- You have to Reengineer processes in correlation with Deal Closing, Drawdowns, Rollovers, Repayments, Pre-payments, Funding, Rate-Fixings, Fees and external payments, collection of interest, Nostro & Past Due Reconciliation, Collateral & Insurance tracking on commercial lending
- Business reengineering, large data handling and problem-solving skills. Logical acumen with keen attention to detail. Excellent analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach
- You need to have the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure, An interest and understanding of project management techniques and business analysis. Commercial awareness, time management and interpersonal skills.
- Data consultant will provide guidance on data management related principles within the company, while also imputing an external client proposal when necessary.
- Design and manage database and data flows to ensure smooth business operation also develop conceptual data models to improve process and add strategy value to the business.
Required Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree with 6 - 12 years' experience including minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business analysis or loan servicing work, preferably for commercial lending or experience in a Back office/Financial industry
- Candidates with knowledge of loan systems like Loan IQ, ACBS will be an added advantage, Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills, Advanced technical, analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Strong problem solving and investigative skills to undertake analysis, resolve issues/problems related to the process, Knowledge of investment banking products including Loans, Proven track record and experience in driving medium to large sized projects with strong results
