Project Description
We've been engaged by a large Australian financial institution to assist in the build-out of their Financial Markets Regulatory reporting software to support additional functionality required for Mifid 2 and G20 reporting (Dodd-Frank, ASIC, EMIR, ...). This engagement is part of a multi-year project to expand the capabilities of the existing software to support the ongoing stream of new regulations impacting financial markets derivatives (FX, FXD, IRD, FI, ..)
We require an experienced Senior Analyst Engineer with exposure to Oracle RDBMS & Unix Scripting. You will be working as a Senior Analyst Engineer in a team of BA's, developers, and testers on a variety of tasks.

Responsibilities
- • Design, create, and implement database systems in Oracle PL/SQL based on the end user's requirements.
• Designing databases and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance.
• Improve application performance.
• Prepare documentation for database applications.
• Memory management for database systems.
• Develop database schemas, tables, and dictionaries.
• Ensure the data quality and integrity in databases.
• Fix any issues related to database performance and provide corrective measures.
• Create complex functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers to support application development.
• Hands-on in any Job schedulers like control-m, Auto-Sys
Skills
Must have
- - 7+ years of experience in a relevant role
- Strong knowledge of Oracle RDBMS
- Strong knowledge of SQL Language
- Unix Scripting
- Versatile with PLSQL, SQL Plus
- Exposure and working with XML data formats
- Ability to troubleshoot to identify the root cause of reported issues
- Ability to tune reports and & queries to maximize productivity
- Ability to design solutions for defined requirements
- Ability to carry out detailed impact analysis
- Ability to use window functions effectively
- knowledge of continuous deployment and testing techniques, along with documentation
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Capital Markets and Trade Reporting experience is desirable
