This data role supports the wider Finance team to deliver accurate reporting and actionable insights across many areas of the Finance Team, primarily to Finance Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Enhance and develop the scope of data available to finance
• Build on our existing modelled data to further utilise our warehousing to facilitate financial reporting
• Ensure new data sources are efficiently and effectively integrated into NetSuite
• Provide triage support
• Training and upskilling other finance team members on SQL and BI tools
• Provide solutions to existing data problems

Role Requirements

• Experience with SQL (Snowflake a plus)
• Experience with data visualisation (Tableau a plus)
• Experience with Power Query (nice to have)
• Able to quickly grasp the intricacies of existing data models, use cases and requirements
• DBT knowledge. We are looking for someone that not only copy and paste SQL but also build reusable data models that get pulled into subsequent models and analysis.
• Proactive with the ability to recommend and implement improvements
• Self motivated, technically literate and able to think in abstract concepts
• Works well in a team, building good working relationships across functions
• Identify and Describe issues from a technical perspective
• Efficient with spreadsheets, manipulating data, and making insightful are well articulate recommendations based on the output
• NetSuite Support - General understanding of the system
