We are looking for someone to join EMEA Application Management team. The team is a part of Issuer Services Technology, within ICG. Aim of the role is to manage application portfolio, understand application's functionality, infrastructure, development process, its purpose, costs and environment it serves and finally to manage related vendors.

Key Responsibilities:
The Apps Support Tech Lead Analyst is responsible to partner with multiple technology teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals; identify and define necessary system enhancements; analyze existing system logic, identify problems; and recommend and implements solutions.
Provides expertise in area and an advanced level of understanding of the principles of apps support. Application Support of one of more applications
Manage application portfolio
Partners with multiple technology areas and management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals.
Understand application's functionality, infrastructure, development process, its purpose, costs and environment it serves
Keeping applications up to spec with latest technologies
Managing stakeholders and external interfaces
Reporting up to Technology Management with Status on all deliveries
Experience and Skills:
Experience:
Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud service
Incidence management and root cause analysis
Desirable to have experience working in a bank or other financial house.
Working with remote teams of developers.
Desirable to have experience in mentoring and assisting junior developers.

Technical:
5+ years of experience in application support role or similar software engineering role
Basic Working knowledge of relational database systems (Oracle, MS SQL Server) and SQL
Basic Networking knowledge Firewalls, Port, Subnetting, DNS, SSL, Proxies, SFTP and Load Balancers.
Basic knowledge on middleware software's such IBM MQ, IBM Connect Direct (NDM), IIS and other Web/App Servers
Basic understanding of technology platforms and infrastructure (Win/Linux/Weblogic/Websphere/SQL/Oracle/MQ/NDM)
Understanding of information security aspects
Experience in Agile process flow
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Soft Skills
Ideally you will have strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
You should be good at face-to-face communication, plus the ability to collaborate with business analysts and non-technical staff.
Ability to write clearly, for technical specs or documentation.
