Our Development team play a vital role in driving our feature development and product innovation. Working across our various software products, our teams gain unique exposure within a challenging environment, are given full autonomy, working on the latest technologies.
What You Will Do
Working closely with Product Owner within the wider sector, you will help to translate the needs of the market into features for our development team to create. You may liaise directly with customers and use your sector experience to help define and clarify needs.
Responding to emerging roadmap and market requirements and identifying logical solutions to meet those needs.
Supporting Product Owner to manage the release of new product features, working closely with agile development teams to ensure timely release to high levels of quality.
Create, manage and maintain a backlog in JIRA, including wireframes, user stories, acceptance criteria and other documentation to ensure the business need is adequately defined for product development and the backlog is up to date and has sufficient stories for the development team to work from.
What You Will Have
Solid understanding of business processes
Minimum of 5 years of experience in your sector
Should have good knowledge of biometric identification processes as well as hardware and embedded software manufacturing practices
Should have good knowledge of RFID technologies used in access control
Strong customer facing skills with the ability to represent the company in a confident and professional manner.
Communicate your own ideas effectively and assimilates those of colleagues and customers.
An ability to influence others regardless of position/seniority.
An analytical approach to problem solving.
Work collaboratively with developers to achieve team delivery objectives.
Manage and prioritise workload including the ability to work to targets and tight timescales.
Deliver high quality documentation.
