Job Description Oracle Cerner is glad to hire a Software Engineer III. As a Software Engineer III, you will be responsible to analyze, design, code, debug, test and modify new software or enhancements while considering software abilities. Create strategic technical designs for small scope projects within team. Provide high-level architecture guidance and develop specifications to resolve software problems. Consult with stakeholders on current functionality and complexity of adding features. Estimate effort for current and future projects of small to medium scope. Debug complicated issues that span multiple modules, involve complex concurrency or low-level problems. Propose and lead process improvements projects for development, deployment or application monitoring. Share knowledge within team through mentorship, coaching, technical talks and blogs.

Qualifications Basic Qualifications - At least 6 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
- At least 1 year software engineering work experience
- At least 5 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education, including:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications - At least 4+ years of mandatory experience across Ruby on Rails (ROR), Reactjs, Microservices architecture, RSpec, Unit Testing skills, MySQL, Docker and CICD. Good knowledge in Java will be an added advantage.
Expectations - Perform other responsibilities as assigned
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
