Do you have an interest in gaming and a good knowledge of various consoles and associated hardware? We are currently assisting this gaming event organizer with hiring a hardware support technician on a contract basis to assist preparation for events and providing technical support. 

Role Overview

In this role you will be preparing and picking hardware equipment for gaming festivals, managing large quantities of game accounts for use on devices at various events and provide support at event sites through hardware set-up and troubleshooting.

Skills / Environment 

Knowledge of gaming systems (Xbox, PlayStation, Switch) as well as PC

Technical understanding of entertainment equipment (TVs, Speakers, Monitors)

Ability to troubleshoot and repair hardware and software problems

Desirable:

Network and switch configuration, cable management and power distribution

Creating PC OS images to event and customer specification

Knowledge of FOG and other push imaging solutions

 Salary: £21k pro rata for 4 months / circa £100pd
