Due to organic growth of a Bristol-based business, I am looking for a Senior P3M Consultant to join a diverse and close-knit team to support both your clients and internal projects.

This Senior P3M Consultant role is a pivotal position and the backbone to what this consultancy does. For those who may be wondering what P3M stands for, it stands for Portfolio, Programme & Project. therefore, it's a position that will see you get involved in far more than just Project Management. As a P3M Consultant, you'll be an integral part of a flexible and adaptable team. You'll take on diverse roles that require project and task leadership, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to deliver outstanding results, either independently or through the effective collaboration of your team.

Within this Senior P3M Consultant, you'll lead, manage and co-ordinate client projects. (as well as internal projects from time to time) You'll have the opportunity to work as part of multi-disciplinary team that may sometimes include other organisations. You'll provide best practice P3M advice and practical support to your clients, and adapt your style and the P3M methodology you use to suit the circumstances (E.g. Agile, Waterfall, Lean, etc)

Other Responsibilities include:

Define the project or task scope, plan, and procurement artefacts including Statements of Requirement (SOR), Business Cases and Tender Documentation

Manage and control project or task Cost, Time & Scope, Risk and Change

Find pragmatic solutions to often conflicting constraints.

Carefully manage expectations & client relationships

Deliver projects and tasks to outstanding quality requirements, including, where required, effectively managing client contracts.

Due to the nature of some of the projects you'd be involved in, this P3M Consultant position will require security vetting and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance.

Other Pre-requisites include:

P3M qualifications such as APM, Agile, Prince 2, MSP, or equivalent desirable

Excellent spoken and written communicator.

A team player and (the desire to be) a natural and engaging leader.

a background in defence or previously held SC
