Well-established, stable company (annual turnover +£75M) seeks experienced IT Support Technician for Windows Server, Exchange, Networking, Virtualisation experience, and maybe more. Nope, that’s about it really.
They are hiring simply because someone’s leaving this team to do a different role in the same company, so there’s scope for you to take this job and learn new things too. Unfortunately, the role’s not boring; somedays, it could be basic 1st/2nd line BAU work, and other days it could be involved in project work where you can learn new tech. ITIL exposure would be great but isn’t essential. If you’re confident in dealing with 3rd party suppliers to work together on solutions, even better.
They like proactive people yet won’t work you into the ground, and the staff turnover is pretty darn low too. The people are friendly, like going to work and enjoy a pleasant work atmosphere.
