Technical Author

One of the UK’s leading SaaS organisations is looking for a Technical Author to join their growing, high-performing team to develop clear, concise documentation for a wide range of complex technical topics.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to make a real impact, joining as the first Technical Author, allowing you to shape the role around you.

The office is based in Fleet where you can work on a hybrid basis, or remotely if you prefer.

The Technical Author will work across all areas of the technology team and have responsibilities that include:

Create, maintain, and improve technical documentation

Define standardised documentation techniques and practices for the future

Review and proof-read documentation

Improve standards through attention to processes, tools, and user needs 

The successful Technical Author will have/be:

Experience configuring Confluence

General understanding of architecture and coding

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 

In terms of the package on offer, you can expect a salary of between £40-60k depending on experience, as well as a range of other great benefits.
