Our client are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Infrastructure Engineer to join their team on a 6-month contract basis. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining their clients' IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage complex IT infrastructure solutions for our clients.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure issues to ensure maximum uptime and performance.

Perform regular system maintenance tasks, including patching, updates, and backups.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement infrastructure strategies aligned with clients' business objectives.

Conduct infrastructure assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.

Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices to enhance infrastructure capabilities.

Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.Skills:

Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer in a similar role, preferably within an MSP or IT consultancy environment.

Strong knowledge of networking principles, virtualization technologies, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

Proficiency in implementing and managing Windows and Linux server environments.

Solid understanding of security principles and best practices.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Duration: 6 Month Contract

Location: Manchester, United Kingdom

Day Rate: £250 - £300 Per Day
