Role: Solution Architect - IFS - ERP

Location: Staffordshire + Remote Work

Duration: 18 Months

IR35 Status: OUTSIDE

Rate: £550 - £600

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Solution Architect to join our team and play a key role in the implementation of the IFS Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. As the Solution Architect, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, project managers, developers, and consultants, to design and oversee the successful deployment of the IFS solution across the business.

Solution Architect - IFS - ERP responsibilities:

Working with our Systems Integration partner and Functional leads, design an optimal IFS solution that meets our functional and technical requirements, including system integration's, customisation's, data migration, and security considerations.

Provide technical expertise and guidance to implementation team, ensuring the implementation adheres to best practices and architectural standards.

Create detailed solution documentation, including functional and technical specifications

Participate in project planning, progress tracking, and risk mitigation activities.

Effectively communicate technical concepts and solution designs to non-technical stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and end-users. Facilitate workshops and training sessions as needed to ensure smooth adoption of the ERP system.

Working with Test Manager on system testing and quality assurance activities to ensure the ERP solution meets the defined requirements, functional specifications, and performance benchmarks.

Support change management activities, including user training, documentation, and post-implementation support. Address and resolve technical issues, system enhancements, and customisation requests in a timely manner.Solution Architect Experience:

Proven experience (8+ years) as a Solution Architect or similar role in IFS implementation projects.

In-depth knowledge of IFS modules, such as Finance, Projects, Service Management, Asset Management, HR, and CRM.

Strong analytically and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into practical technical solutions.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
