Our client is seeking a 2nd Line Field Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The 2nd Line Field Engineer will be working within an IT company that provides IT support over 250 organizations across the Southeast and London area. The 2nd Line Field Engineer will also be traveling to client sites to provide direct IT support and be a part of the helpdesk team.
Key responsibilities for the 2nd Line Field Engineer:
Represent the Company in a positive way, by engaging well with customers, being well-presented at all times, and demonstrating a positive work ethic
Work as part of a team to improve and deliver high-quality PGM days for clients
Thrive on imparting your technical knowledge to others by helping them where needed and creating documentation to support others in the form of Knowledge Base articles
Demonstrate a professional, respectful, and proactive approach to customer service
Have the technical knowledge to make recommendations to clients, suggesting genuine system improvements
When not undertaking site visits / PGM's, provide technical support to Akita's customers via the Helpdesk ticket system, as required by the business
Skills required for the 2nd Line Field Engineer:
Knowledge with Windows Server (Apply online only)
Knowledge with Windows Desktop XP-10
Strong Networking capabilities
Office 365 tenant setup and administration
VMWare/Hyper-V administration
Demonstrable experience as a 2nd Line IT Engineer
