NLP Engineer - Legal Industry - Kent

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 Depending on experience

Fully Remote or Hybrid Working

We are currently recruiting for a NLP Engineer to join an innovative team in the Legal industry. This role will be based in Kent and requires a candidate with a strong technical background in Natural Language Processing (NLP).

As an NPL Engineer you will play a key role in building and enhancing language models that power the automated legal document review and analysis process.

Responsibilities:

Develop NLP applications and models to solve complex problems

Design and implement algorithms to efficiently process large datasets

Analyse and interpret customer data to identify trends and patterns

Develop and improve existing applications and services

Collaborate with team members to ensure successful delivery of projects

Product Development

Create documentation and tutorials to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audienceTechnical Skills Required:

Expertise in natural language processing algorithms (e.g. text classification, part-of-speech tagging, named entity recognition, sentiment analysis, etc.)

Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and/or Keras

Strong knowledge of Python programming language and related libraries (e.g. NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn, NLTK, etc.)

Familiarity with natural language processing libraries such as spaCy and NLTK

Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and/or Microsoft Azure

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

2+ years' experience in NLP Model Building
