My Client is a leading developer and supplier of software systems in the UK, supplying to a number of sectors.

The Role

Based in their head office in Stratford-upon-Avon, the successful applicant will join an existing team working on developments for specific clients, and will be required to travel to assess clients' requirements and develop bespoke software to meet their needs. The role will include the development of new web applications, Mobile Apps, Desktop Apps and provide second line support for existing clients.

About you

You will have (at least two years) experience in software programming, and be looking to further your career as a software developer. A bachelor's degree in computer science or a successfully completed apprenticeship are desirable but not essential if you can demonstrate the required level of skills, which are:

* Knowledge of VB.net would be ideal or similar programming languages

* Appeon, Powerbuilder, Delphi

* Some experience with ASP.NET or another major web development language

* Knowledge of SQL.

* It would be useful, but not essential, to have knowledge of SQL server.

You will be able to demonstrate drive, energy and self-motivation, and you will be conscientious and show attention to detail. You must able to communicate clearly and understand briefs and instructions, and, with experience gained, be able to estimate your own timescale to complete projects. A full driving licence is essential.
