Desktop Support Engineer

Type: Contract

Day Rate: €200/day+ depending on experience

Location: Dublin

Are you an experienced Desktop Support Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to work on a day-rate contract basis? Our client, based in Dublin, Ireland, is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Desktop Support Engineer to join their team on a contract basis.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person

Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues

Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices

Install, configure, and maintain servers, networking equipment, and other IT infrastructure

Assist with IT projects as needed

Manage and prioritize support requests using a ticketing system

Ensure timely resolution of support requests

Qualifications:

6+ years of experience in IT support

Strong technical knowledge of Windows and MacOS operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and network protocols

Experience with Citrix Workspace, Active Directory, Exchange, and other enterprise-level technologies

Excellent customer service skills

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
