Title: Data Engineer

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE

Location: Manchester (Hybrid)

My client is rapidly growing their Data/BI department and is looking for a highly talented Data Engineer to play an integral role in the development of their new data warehouse as well as many other exciting projects!

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain data integration workflows and ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources

Optimise data pipelines for performance, reliability, and scalability

Ensure data quality and implement data validation processes to identify and resolve issues

Perform data modeling and database design to support business needs

Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to proactively identify and resolve data-related problems

The ideal candidate…

Data warehousing experience (ideally 1+ years)

Highly proficient in SQL is a must

Experience working with data from different data sources

Experience using SSIS or Azure Data Factory would be ideal

ETL package/pipeline experience

Keen to learn and progress!
