2nd Line Engineer – (Infrastructure, 2nd Line, O365, AD, Server, Networking, DNS, DHCP, Cisco, Windows) – Permanent – Warrington

Charles Simon Associates are currently looking to recruit an 2nd Line Engineer on a permanent basis for a prestigious fast growing business based in Warrington. This role will have a small amount of travel to sites in the North West.

Location: Warrington

Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum

Skills/Requirements for the 2nd Line Engineer:

* Previous experience within a similar role

* Windows Server experience ideally 2016, 2019 and if possible 2022

* Experience of working within O365

* Experience of Active Directory

* Excellent Networking skills around DNS/DHCP, if possible some Cisco exposure

Start date is ASAP for the 2nd Line Engineer

The 2nd Line Engineer will be responsible for:

* Taking ownership of the IT infrastructure, ensuring that it is fully operational at all times.

* Managing all of the high level maintenance work across the business including the VMware and Server areas

* Providing general BAU support remotely and on occasion face to face

* Deputising for the Head of IT when needed

* Ensuring adherence to all IT policies, architectural standards and guidelines, operational processes and procedures including relevant build and security Standards.

* Providing assistance to the helpdesk as the escalation point
