I have a new role for a fintech for good start-up/scale up who have been going for a number of years and have doubled in size in the last year from 50 to 100 people. They have an office based in Bristol and would like people happy to pop in one day a month if needed but you can work remotely the rest of the time.

They have some brilliant products that help people improve their financial situations and they are also currently building a financial wellness app to complement their existing products. They have a Development team of 21 and a qa team of 5 (3 of these being offshore).

They are now hiring a hands on QA lead to work alongside their other lead and help to drive standards up and get some better processes in place across their testing. They want someone full of ideas and who is opinionated but in a good way, and is happy to make suggestions, say when things need to change and stand their ground when needed. You'll work closely with their Qas, developers and their leadership team , championing best practice and helping to embed a culture of quality.

This is a hands on role where you'll be also be testing across their web-based platform and API's as well as improving processes. They also would love someone with solid knowledge of automation, who understands what works and doesn't work and can help them on their automation journey. They would love someone who can look at what they have in place and make suggestions on new tools and frameworks they could be working with, coaching their other QA's and potentially be hands-on with building out the automation too.

It's a great opportunity to go in and help improve Qa for a company that are doing incredibly well.

Their ideal person will have worked as a QA Lead before, ideally for a startup/scaleup and have worked in a position before where they have helped to improve processes and ways of working.

Salary is anywhere from £50,000- £70,000 depending on experience.
