Senior Software Engineer / Andover / up to £60,000 / Mostly Remote

A leading organization in the fintech industry that are scaling year on year in terms of profit and headcount are currently in search of their next Software Engineer. You’ll be helping to continue their pathway that’s already been laid for the next 4-5 years growth.

Now I’m sure you’re sitting there thinking, what’s in it for me. Well alongside the above, as an engineer you will also get to work on greenfield projects with some of the most up to date tech. We’re talking tech such as Serverless AWS environments and even some tech that barely existed a few years ago.

The engineering department is one of the businesses key focuses and they currently have 13 agile teams with roughly 8 developers in each covering a whole host of different technical skills and covering a global basis too with offices in locations such as Spain, Poland, USA and Costa Rica!

The tech you’ll be focusing on is Vue, and AWS with a preference for MySQL as the database. There’s of course the expectation you can handle APIs with either GraphQL or REST too. Outside of this, anything else is a bonus so familiarity with Java, Spring or Kendo UI through to frontend testing frameworks is great but not necessary.

The work will be split evenly between upgrading, maintaining and monitoring their current suite of software alongside their greenfield projects which they are always consistently developing. Most projects lined up don’t even have a proof of concept yet meaning you can immediately make your mark on the product.
