2nd Line Support Technician
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 pa (doe)
Location: Brighton, East Sussex
Full-Time, Permanent, Office-based
My client is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated 2nd Line Support Technician to join their dynamic team in Brighton.

Responsibilities:
Provide 2nd line technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in person.
Involved in major migration projects in On-premises to On-premises, On-premise to SharePoint, VoIP Roll-out, Server, and Hybrid Cloud migrations to mention a few.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
Perform system installations, configurations, and upgrades.
Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance problems.
Collaborate with other support teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, solutions, and knowledge base articles.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.Essential Skills:
MSP experience
Experience and exposure to migration projects in SharePoint, On-prem, or Hybrid Cloud
Previous experience in a similar 2nd line support role.
Proficient across Windows operating systems (Windows 10, Windows Servers).
Proficient in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Intermediate to advanced skills across virtual servers; VMWare, Hyper-V, Citrix
Excellent understanding or experience of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Proficient across with Active Directory administration.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Desirable Skills:
Familiarity with ITIL framework and incident management processes.
Certification in relevant IT areas (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) - it's a plus not essential thoughRequirements:
