Our Multinational client in the Banking sector based in Northwich is looking for an experienced Deputy IT Development Manager to join a fast-paced team during a period of significant growth permanently with a salary of £60,000 on offer.

What does the role entail?

As the Deputy IT Development Manager, you will be supporting the team and developing the Bank's IT capabilities. You will work on system design, development, implementation and liaising with users on technical advice and support. You will ensure to plan and manage development work steams, testing and implementing new software, systems, and platforms. You will also look to provide support on IT development and projects leading and empowering the IT Systems team keeping a consistent team working spirit and quality work including in documentation for proposals and reports.

What skills will you have?

To be progressed for this Deputy IT Development Manager position you will ideally have worked within a similar IT Development role as the one listed above, on top of this you will be a team player, as well as organised and thorough with your approach to getting stuck into all tasks required of you. You will have experience working under pressure and communicating technical details effectively and professionally with the staff of all levels. Expertise in Oracle development is a must and experience with SAP Business Objects would be a plus but not essential. The ideal candidate would know agile methodologies and life cycles.
