A Technical Analyst is required deliver data interfaces for Sofico.
This will include data analysis, interface specification, technical and functional analysis, information security and compliance assessment, overseeing implementation, unit testing, system integration testing, acceptance, go-live and early life support.
On this 12 month Fixed Term Contract you will work closely with internal business and project teams, implementation partners and external suppliers
The Technical Analyst is paying an excellent annual salary with benefits including increased pension contributions, Bonus, 25 Days holiday and much more.
The role:
Understand high level interface requirements and existing legacy data exchange
Discuss with subject matter experts and business teams to define the new interface
Discuss with external suppliers and implementation partners to refine the interface to be funcationally and cost efficient (for development and running)
Indentify costs and ensure project managemenrt approval
Assist in Vendor comparison, selection and recommendation
Produce interface specification to include business/function overview, technical design, data description, validation rules, error handling, data mapping, information security and compliance requirements
Review functional analysis from implementation partner
Discuss with interface stakeholder and obtain sign-off
Liaise with implementation partner and external suppliers to setup test environments
Perform unit testing liaising with implementation partner and external supplier to resolve issues
Define and measure acceptance criteria
Work with Test Manager to define system integration test requirements and parameters. Oversee integration testing and resolve issues
Define production environment parameters
Ensure information security requirements are met including authentication criteria, secure data transport mechanism, data integrity, separation of prod / non-prod.
Ensure interface production readiness
Define BAU support requirements
The successful Technical Analyst will have the following experience:
Experience in a similar role
Proven ability to develop and implement technical solutions that meet stakeholder's needs
Strong technical skills with an ability to perform technical tasks whilst being able to relate these to SMEs and business staff
Experience managing work with internal and external stakeholders
Knowledge of CSV, XML, JSON, Web Services, Rest APIs, SFTP and general encryption techniques and technologies
Strong analytical & conceptual thinking abilities
A flexible approach is required. Experience in working in agile environments where requirements may change and a prioritisation approach to working is essential.Beneficial experience
Financial services background experience preferred
Knowledge of the motor finance and fleet management business is highly desirable
Sofico Miles knowledge is desirableWith their offices in the Portsmouth area, this is a hybrid role where you can work 2 days a week from home.
